Dearest fellow travelers,
Recently and thankfully there has been a particular stress on classroom management for newly admitted elementary school teachers. I've always remembered my father mentioning to me that when he was studying to become a teacher he wished he was given a course strictly on what one needs to have ready for the first day of class. He wasn't talking about content but classroom management. How do you physically set up your classroom to have the most ideal environment? What rules and procedures are most necessary to show the kids in the first weeks of school? Tim Fredrick's ELA Teaching Blog is particularly interesting because he understands how difficult it can be for first time teachers and he wants to offer as much help as possible. He also has his own Wiki where he offers advice on how to teach numerous different aspects of language arts.
One other nice thing is his blog provides numerous other links to what seem to be very insightful websites pertaining to education.

Teaching Copyright in the Classroom
Good morning, silly folks. Attached is a website that helps teachers approach the subject of copyright in the classroom.
Have a great day, boogaloos.
Have a great day, boogaloos.
I am drinking your milkshake!
Hey there. What's up? Really? Are you sure? Didn't they move? Oh well. I'm sure you'll be fine. They were dirty hippies anyway.
Wait. You're making me get off track. My name is Tyler Record and I'm a Elementary Education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Someday, somewhere, I might work with children. In the meantime, here is a website that I visit frequently. It has nothing to do with education or anything like that. Why would I do that? Instead, the following website is a forum dedicated to the greatest baseball team in the history of the entire world: The Boston Red Sox.

Are you converted yet? You should be. Have a great day, hippie.
